STRATFORD - Stratford school officials say they called police today after threatening graffiti was found painted on an air conditioning unit on the roof of a school.

A parent provided News 12 Connecticut with a photo from Second Hill Lane School of the graffiti showing someone spray-painted the words "death 2 thee kids."

Officials say someone spotted the graffiti during recess and crews quickly removed it.

They say they are taking this "very seriously" and they are stepping up security at the school, including extra police patrols.
