GREENWICH - First Selectman Peter Tesei (R-Greenwich) says the town is planning to meet with officials from the Aquarion Water Company to get to the bottom of the three water main breaks that have hit the town in the past two weeks.

The most recent break happened on Railroad Avenue last night and Tesei says it's time for the town to meet with its water company.

"We want the water company to do their assessment and determine what the cause of the breaks are, and what they are going to do to fix it," says Tesei.

Officials from Aquarion say high demand this time of year could be one of the causes for the frequent breaks. The town plans to meet with Aquarion later this week.
