Towns postpone fireworks shows due to inclement weather

Several towns in southwestern Connecticut have postponed their fireworks shows tonight due to inclement weather. Stratford and Stamford announced today they will be pushing back

STRATFORD - Several towns in southwestern Connecticut have postponed their fireworks shows tonight due to inclement weather.

Stratford and Stamford announced today they will be pushing back their celebrations. While Milford announced yesterday, its show will now be held Tuesday, July 5. 

Strong storms are expected to roll through the area tonight.

Stamford's fireworks show is now scheduled for Saturday, July 2, while Stratford's will also take place on July 5
