STAMFORD - The storm is winding down as people look to return to work today.

Nearly a foot of snow fell Thursday during the first part of the snowstorm, which turned to rain in the afternoon. 

More light snow is expected Saturday as a system pushes through the region with a high of 35 degrees

Fair and much colder weather will arrive Sunday and Monday before milder temperatures and showers move in during the middle of next week.
