Tractor-trailer carrying live fish flips on I-95

WESTPORT - Commuters were slowed on I-95 in Westport last night after a tractor-trailer carrying 2,500 pounds of live fish flipped on its side.

The truck, bound for Brooklyn, was traveling on the southbound side when the accident occurred at about 6:30 p.m.

State police say the accident happened when the truck got a flat tire and the driver lost control.

Witnesses tell News 12 Connecticut the fish could be seen flopping on the highway between exits 16 and 17.

No one was injured during the accident.
