NORWALK - Two of the three women accused of attacking an MTA conductor in November faced a judge Tuesday.

Police say the women were on a New Haven-bound train when they tried to pass off fake tickets to a conductor. According to police, they attacked the 61-year-old conductor, breaking several of her fingers and scratching her face, when she confronted them.

Shaquana Minott and an unidentified 17-year-old woman were charged with assault of an MTA employee, while Jayra Hargrove was charged with forgery. On Tuesday, Minott and Hargrove were advised by the judge to get an attorney and granted a continuance.

The women are due back in court Jan. 12.
