Train slips off the tracks in New Canaan

NEW CANAAN - A train in New Canaan slipped off the tracks.

It happened at the train station just after midnight.

The train overshot the end of the tracks knocking down a barrier.

There were passengers on it but no one was hurt.

Metro-North officials say it could affect New Canaan line service into the afternoon.
