NORWALK - Norwalk residents are fed up with wet, hot trash that has been sitting curbside for days.

City officials admit they failed to properly communicate the holiday garbage pickup schedule with residents. As a result, people took their trash out on Monday expecting it to be taken away the following morning.

Pickups began Thursday evening and will be collected by Saturday, according to the city.
