Travel experts: Residents can find vacation bargains

NORWALK - With snowy weather becoming the norm in southwestern Connecticut, travel experts advise residents to look out for deals and discounts on winter trips.

Carol Warren, president of Warren Travel Group in Westport, says the travel industry is suffering during the economic downturn, and residents may be surprised how inexpensive airfare can be. In just a few moments, Warren was able to find a trip to Cancun at 55 percent off and a trip to Paris for just $800.

Warren says there are also children-friendly vacation bargains available that could help make the winter a little easier to get through.
