STAMFORD - The trial begins today for the man accused of killing a Greenwich developer in 2006.

Carlos Trujillo, 49, is charged with murder and conspiracy for the stabbing death of Andrew Kissel at his Greenwich home. Kissel was set to plead guilty in a multimillion-dollar fraud case a few days later.

Prosecutors say it was part of a murder-for-hire scheme also involving Trujillo's cousin, who pleaded guilty last year to reduced charges of manslaughter and conspiracy.
