Trial date set for accused Fairfield murderer

The man accused of killing two Fairfield jewelers in their shop back in 2005 has had a date set for his trial.Christopher DiMeo is charged

FAIRFIELD - The man accused of killing two Fairfield jewelers in their shop back in 2005 has had a date set for his trial.

Christopher DiMeo is charged with shooting Tim and Kim Donnelly during a robbery at their store.

The trial date has been set for January.

If convicted, he could face the death penalty.
