GREENWICH - Greenwich police say East Putnam Avenue has reopened after a truck fire this morning

It happened before 8 a.m. in the area of Soundbeach Avenue and Havemeyer Lane.

Fire officials say a live power line ended up touching the truck, so they had to evacuate the area and let it burn before the electricity could be turned off.

They say no one was in the truck when the fire started and no one was hurt.
