Trumbull police search for bank robber

TRUMBULL - Trumbull police say they are searching for a suspect involved in a bank robbery earlier today.

Officers say the suspect walked into People's United Bank this afternoon, handed the tellers a plastic bag and told them to fill it with money.  They say the suspect was holding what appeared to be a semi-automatic silver and grey hand gun.

Police say their K-9 tracked a scent to a neighboring parking lot, which is where officers believe he got in a vehicle.
