BRIDGEPORT - Twenty young men from a local fraternity were holiday helpers this weekend, donating hundreds of dollars worth of gifts to two small Bridgeport children in need.
Gentlemen from the University of Connecticut's chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon paid a special visit to two youngsters at the Bridgeport Child and Family Guidance Center on Sunday. They brought $500 worth of gifts for the children, including remote controlled cars and Razor scooters.
Fraternity members said their organization wasn't just about partying and other stereotypes. Instead, they strive to live up to their motto of being true gentlemen.
