HARTFORD - Thousands of people lined the streets in Hartford to celebrate both the men's and women's basketball teams from UConn on their national championships.

This is the second time both teams won a national title in the same year; the last time was 2004, and no other Division I team has done that before.

Both teams rode down the streets of Hartford in open-roofed double decker buses, waving to their fans. Along with the parade, a rally was held on the steps of the state Capitol.

The two Huskies teams will be meeting President Barack Obama in the coming weeks.
