UConn men's & women's NCAA basketball championship parade set for Sunday

HARTFORD - The state will celebrate both UConn basketball championships this Sunday.

Gov. Dannel Malloy announced the plans for the victory parade.

It will start in Hartford at 4 p.m. at the State Capitol and then circle back to the Capitol for a rally.

UConn is the only Division I school to win both the men's and women's basketball championships in the same year.  However this is not the first time. UConn also won both titles in 2004.
