ROCKVILLE - (AP) - Prosecutors are expected to outlinetheir case against a Bloomfield man accused of killing Universityof Connecticut football player Jasper Howard.
A probable cause hearing is scheduled for Thursday in the murdercase against John Lomax III.
Prosecutors say he was involved in a minor altercation withothers outside a university sanctioned dance early Oct. 18. Theysay he and another man went back to Lomax's car and returned withknives.
Prosecutors say several witnesses identified Lomax as the personwho stabbed 20-year-old Howard of Miami.
Lomax's lawyer has questioned the accuracy of those statements.
Lomax, who faces charges of murder and conspiracy to commitassault, is currently being held in lieu of $2 million bond.
