WILTON - An Eversource Energy sub-contractor has died after being hurt on the job Thursday.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration says the sub-contractor was electrocuted while working next to a utility pole on Rivergate Drive.

Police say witnesses saw the man suddenly collapse.

The sub-contractor has been identified as Marcos Silva, 44, of Danbury. Officials say Silva was employed with KTI Utility Construction, of Wilton.
