Vandals slice their way through Walnut Beach

At least 18 cars have had their tires slashed in the Walnut Beach area of Milford since Thursday.Police say residents filed 13 vandalism reports Thursday.

MILFORD - At least 18 cars have had their tires slashed in the Walnut Beach area of Milford since Thursday.

Police say residents filed 13 vandalism reports Thursday. At least another five came in Friday.

The incidents have been occurring along Monroe Street, Joy Road and Shea Avenue.

Police aren't sure if the incidents are connected to an April Fools' Day prank. The cost of the damage is estimated in the thousands.
