Verdict reached in Fairfield wrongful death suit

A jury has awarded more than $300,000 to the parents of a man stabbed to death by his neighbor.The parents of Barry James, 59, sued

FAIRFIELD - A jury has awarded more than $300,000 to the parents of a man stabbed to death by his neighbor.

The parents of Barry James, 59, sued Jonathan Edington for stabbing their son to death in 2006.

Edington had told police that he believed James molested his 2-year old daughter, however police did not any find evidence of that.

Edington is serving a 12-year prison sentence for the crime.
