STAMFORD - Several workers from Viacom rolled up their sleeves today to help out in Stamford.

The company held its 20th annual volunteer day at Mill River Park.

They spent the day weeding, mulching and looking for invasive species that may be creeping into the park.

Organizers from Viacom say they always get a good response when they ask for volunteers.

Mill River Park is a made up of 25 acres of public land along the Mill River.
            
Organizers say they rely on volunteers to help keep the space clean and functional.
