Violence tears through Norwalk neighborhood

NORWALK - ? Violence broke out early Tuesday morning in Norwalk when a shooting and stabbing took place moments apart at the same location.

Police were called to 172 Suncrest Rd., inside the Colonial Village Public Housing Complex, just before 1 in the morning. Investigators say a shooting and stabbing took place, but not much more is known about the incident.

One neighbor did report hearing gunshots while inside his home. Police are not saying how many people, if any, were injured.
