Volunteers from Bridgeport churches give homeless Easter feast
BRIDGEPORT - Volunteers from churches around Bridgeport spread their Easter celebrations by giving more than 100 homeless people a feast for the holiday.
The volunteers congregated under a bridge on John Street, where homeless men and women are known to take shelter from the weather.
The volunteers brought bags of food and supplies to give those less fortunate an easier holiday.

Organizers said helping those in need gives them a great feeling.
