BRIDGEPORT - Voters in Bridgeport turned out last night to discuss the ballot shortages that caused chaos this past Election Day.

The city ordered only 21,000 ballots for 69,000 registered voters.

Some voters were turned away due to the ballot shortage and some weren't even aware that half of the polling stations stayed open until 10 p.m.

Meanwhile, Secretary of the State Susan Bysiewicz is not getting cooperation from the city's registrars office. They say they won't conduct a recount of the places that did stay open on election night for her audit.
