STAMFORD - The annual "Alive at Five" concert series kicked off in Stamford on Thursday.

People from across the region flock to the festival, which features live musical acts and a variety of vendors. The Wallflowers headlined the first evening. Long Island’s The Como Brothers opened.

The outdoor concerts will be held on most Thursday nights at Columbus Park through the summer and wrap up on August 15.
