FAIRFIELD - With spring officially here, southwestern Connecticut residents are looking to get an early start on their gardens.
Ganim's Garden Center says they have already had a number of people looking to buy plants for their gardens.
Lee Ganim says people should plant hardier plants like pansies now and avoid fragile plants like tomatoes and impatiens. Ganim says there could still be a cold snap that might kill less hardy plants.
News 12 Connecticut meteorologist Paul Piorek says that it is still possible for the region to get snow, albeit unlikely.
