State police say slick conditions led to a 27-car pileup on I-95 in Greenwich Sunday night. The crashes happened at around 11:30 p.m. between exits

GREENWICH - State police say slick conditions led to a 27-car pileup on I-95 in Greenwich Sunday night.

The crashes happened at around 11:30 p.m. between exits 5 and 4 on the southbound side.

A Greenwich Hospital representative says six people were taken there with minor injuries. All have since been released. Police say three people were also taken to Stamford Hospital.

Part of the highway was closed for about two hours following the crash.
