The weekend that marks the unofficial start to summer is off to a soggy start.

Meteorologist Dan Zarrow says showers will continue for much of the day today, with chilly temperatures in the low to mid-50s.

The showers will finally taper off this evening. Tomorrow will start off with partly cloudy skies, with highs improving to the mid-60s.

Memorial Day will be the best of the holiday weekend, with sunny skies and highs in the lower 70s.
