Weather update: Cold snap continues

Frigid-cold temperatures in southwestern Connecticut are expected to continue through Tuesday. News 12 meteorologists say overnight lows around 12 degrees will rise to 29 degrees

NORWALK - Frigid-cold temperatures in southwestern Connecticut are expected to continue today.

Temperatures were in the single digits overnight through much of southwestern Connecticut.

Those temperatures will rise during the day into the upper 20s.

Tuesday night will see temperatures dip back down into the teens.

Temperatures will warm into the 40s on Wednesday, and highs are expected to be in the 40s the rest of the week.
