WESTON - Weston residents are questioning the safety of their schools two months after the Sandy Hook Elementary shootings.

The topic was discussed today at what the Weston League of Women Voters called, "Speak Up 2013."

Some residents believe that the schools are a target because all of the town's schools sit on one big campus.

Officials say they're looking at hiring more officers and fortifying school buildings.

State Senate Minority Leader John Mckinney, who attended the meeting today, says Hartford may be able to help with the costs.
