WESTON - A college student from Weston is among the people injured in the Boston Marathon bombings.

Victoria McGrath, 20, has serious injuries to her legs.

Her family says she attends college in Boston at Northeastern University, but that they did not know she would be at the marathon. McGrath's family says they rushed to see if she was OK as soon as they heard of her injuries.

McGrath's former nanny says the 20-year-old loves to travel and is very active. The nanny was not surprised that McGrath was on the sidelines of the marathon.

Family members say McGrath is still in the hospital, but doing well. The family has asked for privacy as she continues to heal.
