WESTPORT - Just a few months after a tropical storm battered southwestern Connecticut, another massive cleanup is under way after a rare October snowstorm blanketed the area.

Crews were called in to help in Westport and other communities, after Gov. Dannel Malloy (D-Conn.) said it could take a week before everyone has their power restored.

Officials say the storm knocked out power for over a half-million customers.
