WESTPORT - Some Westport business owners are taking their shops elsewhere due to hurricane exhaustion after Irene and Sandy.

Alla Ionescu, who owns the Chic Jolie clothing boutique on Taylor Place, says her shop was under 2 feet of water after Sandy. Following additional damage from Irene in 2011, she now can't afford to pay for restoration and repairs. She says she's moving her store to Fairfield in May.

Meanwhile, the CEO of Klaff's hardware store say it will also be closing its Westport location at the end of April and moving due to storm damage.

Other stores, including Sunglass Hut, still remain closed from last October's storm. Officials from Westport's Chamber of Commerce say they plan on discussing options to ensure business owners remain in town.
