WESTPORT - Southwestern Connecticut pediatricians say they are already busy with back-to-school physicals.

Dr. Nicole Gorman, of Village Pediatrics in Westport, says within the last year doctors have started to embrace cholesterol screening for children. She says parents should warn their children about the finger stick blood test.Gorman also recommends the HPV vaccine, which can help prevent cervical cancer later in woman and prevent genital warts in young men.
