Westport home damaged by early morning blaze

Officials are trying to determine what caused a fire Friday in Westport.The blaze broke out around 2 a.m. at a home on Long Lots Road.

WESTPORT - Officials are trying to determine what caused a fire Friday in Westport.The blaze broke out around 2 a.m. at a home on Long Lots Road. Officials say most of the damage was done to the garage.Firefighters from both the Westport and Fairfield fire departments were needed to contain the blaze.Fire officials say no one was home at the time of the fire and no firefighters were injured battling the blaze.
