WESTPORT - Cavalry Road is back open after a tree took down some power lines in Westport, leaving at least 100 homes in the dark Tuesday night.

The scene was in the area of Broad Street near the Weston border.

Firefighters kept watch on the tree and downed power lines as utility crews were called to the scene.
