Westport middle school student fights back at bullying

WESTPORT - More than 2,200 people have viewed a video clip posted on YouTube by a Westport Middle School student in reaction to what she says is the daily bullying she endures.

In the video, Alye Pollack holds up cards detailing her experiences, but doesn't speak.

Pollack posted the video on YouTube a week ago, silently showing the world the pain she says she's going through at the hands of bullies at her school.

Psychologist Barbara Lavi says she is concerned that the video could lead to even more bullying if the school doesn't intervene.

There is no word yet from the superintendent of schools in response to the student's claims.
