Westport police search for Radio Shack robber

WESTPORT - Westport police are searching for a man who held up a Radio Shack Friday night.

Police say the incident occurred at the store along Post Road East just across from the Sherwood Island Connector. They say the robber confronted the clerk shortly before closing implying that he had a gun.

Police describe the suspect as a male between 25 and 30 years old with a thin to medium build and severe acne on the right side of his face.

Anyone with information is asked to call Westport police at 203-341-6000.
