WESTPORT - The death of Grammy-award winning singer Whitney Houston is giving a Westport musician and producer a chance to remember the opportunity he had to work with her.

Jeff Southworth met the singer in a Miami recording studio in 1993. He arranged and produced the jingle that Houston sang for an AT&T commercial.

Southworth says Houston's death was both shocking and saddening. He calls it a case of the good ones dying too young.
