Westport Radio Shack robbed just before closing

WESTPORT - Westport police say they are searching for a man who robbed a Radio Shack store just before it closed last night.

They say the man walked into the shop on Post Road East shortly before 9 p.m. Friday, claimed he had a gun but never showed it. Police say the man stole some cash and ran out.

Police have identified the suspect as a 5'7" African American with a severe case of facial acne. They say he was wearing blue jeans, a fleece zip-up jacket and a black skull cap at the time of the robbery.
