Westport walk raises money for multiple sclerosis

Hundreds of people took part in a walk today at Sherwood Island State Park in Westport, raising money in the hopes of finding a cure

WESTPORT - Hundreds of people took part in a walk today at Sherwood Island State Park in Westport, raising money in the hopes of finding a cure for multiple sclerosis.

A large turnout came from Fairfield's Sacred Heart University, where more than 200 athletes participated in the walk in honor of Leo Katsetos, an athletic trainer from the university. Katsetos says members from all 32 of the univeristy's teams participated in Sunday's walk.

North American Power, the event's sponsor, has agreed to donate ten dollars for every donation from its customers.
