WESTPORT - A Westport woman will meet with officials at the Japanese Consulate in Manhattan tomorrow in an effort to help disaster victims.

Yumi McDonald is originally from Tokyo and is vice president of the Japan Society of Fairfield County. She is heading up local efforts to raise money for Japan following last week's devastating earthquake and tsunami.

McDonald will hand deliver the donations she has raised to officials in New York this week.
