Widow of wrestler suing WWE, McMahon

The widow of a former WWE wrestler killed in the ring 11 years ago is suing the company and its former CEO and current Senate

STAMFORD - The widow of a former WWE wrestler killed in the ring 11 years ago is suing the company and its former CEO and current Senate candidate Linda McMahon.

Martha Hart claims the WWE is continuing to market the image of Owen Hart. He was killed in 1999 when a harness that was lowering him into the ring broke causing him to fall.

Hart claims the company is still using her husband's name in 37 videos, violating a settlement she reached with them after his death.

Attorneys for the Stamford-based WWE are calling the lawsuit a political stunt designed to hurt McMahon.
