BRIDGEPORT - A school bus driver from Bridgeport whose home was destroyed by fire last week is thanking the Wilton community for the outpouring of support he has received.

Ubi Anicette, 37, says he lost everything except the clothes on his back when the Bridgeport house he lived in burned down, leaving eight people homeless.

The parents on his school bus route have raised thousands of dollars to help him rebuild his life.

Anicette, who is supposed to get married in April, says he's grateful to all the people who have come together to help him.
