Wilton students celebrate last day of classes

WILTON - Today was the last day of classes for students attending public schools in Wilton, one of the first districts in southwestern Connecticut to officially end its academic year.

News 12 Connecticut spent part of the day with 22 third-grade students at Cider Mill School, who played tennis and baseball. They say not much learning went on in class today.

Third-grade teacher Michelle Grimaldi says she's sad to see her students go.

"This class has just been so fabulous, and you just bond so much with the kids and you really see them grow," Grimaldi says.
