Woman attacked by roaming dog in Norwalk

A woman was taken to the hospital after getting bitten in the leg and back by a roaming bullmastiff Friday on Boulder Road.The dog's owners

NORWALK - A woman was taken to the hospital after getting bitten in the leg and back by a roaming bullmastiff Friday on Boulder Road.

The dog's owners say they don't know how their pet got out. The dog has since been taken by Animal Control and will be kept in quarantine and under observation for two weeks. The owners say they plan on putting the dog down.

The victim was released after getting treated at the hospital.
