DARIEN - A Stamford woman is facing charges after a fatal hit-and-run crash in Darien Saturday.

It happened around 2:30 a.m. when a car got a flat tire on the southbound side between exits 10 and 11.

Police say after two people got out of that car to change the tire, they were hit by an SUV driven by Candice Blanks, 39.

Police say Blanks kept going and was later arrested in Stamford. She's been charged with vehicular manslaughter, failing to maintain her lane and DWI. Blanks was released on $250,000 bond and is due in court next month.

The victims have been identified as Felipe Chagas, 19 and Lucas Silva, 22.
