GREENWICH - The family of a 6-year-old boy killed in a tragic pool accident back in 2007 has teamed up with the Boys and Girls Club in Greenwich to organize a water safety week in his honor.

In her son's honor, Karen Cohn co-founded the ZAC Foundation to raise awareness of the importance of water safety. This week the foundation is hosting its first "ZAC camp."

Just last week, the pool contractor responsible for not installing a safety feature in the pool where Zachary Archer Cohn got his arm stuck pleaded guilty.

The pool builder was given a one-year suspended sentence along with three years probation.  His company also has to pay $150,000 to the ZAC Foundation to promote pool and spa safety.
