STRATFORD - Zoning approval was granted Tuesday for a major entertainment production studio in Stratford at the site of an old Exxon plant.

If the project is given the full green light, Dogstar Studios would occupy the location of the former Exxon Chemical Plant on Lordship Boulevard. It is hoped Dogstar Studios could create 200 permanent jobs in Stratford.

The Connecticut State Traffic Commission still wants to make sure the plans for the project comply with traffic plans.
