Norwalk police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing Norwalk woman and her young daughter, saying they have received several tips throughout the evening. Police say 33-year-old Kelley Acevedo and 7-month-old Emily went missing after a Norwalk court date. Acevedo and her daughter had been living at the Open Door Shelter, a drug rehabilitation center in New Haven. Officials say she had been given permission to leave, but never returned to the facility. However, a photo shows the pair on a northbound train leaving East Norwalk yesterday at around 9 p.m. Investigators say people have reported seeing the mother in Waterbury, as well. Police say they received a call today about the disappearance by the Department of Children and Families, and are urging anyone with information to call them at 203-854-3000.
